Coaches
Eric Kaiser
Head Coach
- Coach Kaiser has 12 seasons of coaching experience across multiple sports, including at the high school level.
- Has coached with Herndon-Reston Youth Lacrosse for the past 4 seasons.
- Attended high school in Maryland and lettered in multiple sports including lacrosse, football, wrestling, and track.
- While playing high school lacrosse, he gained the unique experience and perspective of playing numerous positions after being requested by coaches to play Midfield, LSM, and Defense, depending on the matchup. Additionally, he performed face-offs and played a FOSO (Face-off, Stay-on) position.
- Collegiately, Coach Kaiser was a multi-sport athlete playing Division I Football at Elon University, as well as lacrosse.
- While playing lacrosse in college, he played multiple positions, although, midfield was the primary focus.
- Post-collegiate, Coach Kaiser played Men’s League Lacrosse on a team sponsored by Lexus of Rockville (MD).
Tony Dunbar
Tony Dunbar brings over 27 years of experience as a lacrosse player and coach. His playing career began at Broad Run High School, where he contributed to the launch of the school’s lacrosse program. He continued at Division III Wesley College from 2000 to 2005, anchoring the defense as a Close Defenseman and specializing in team defense and man-down units.
At the high school level, Coach Dunbar has served for seven seasons across Broad Run, Park View, and Lightridge High Schools. His leadership and strategic expertise earned him Co-Coach of the Year honors in 2011. In addition to his school-based coaching, Coach Dunbar played a foundational role in establishing the Cavalier Club program, contributing meaningfully to its growth and competitive success.
Dan Brennan
Coach Dan has been involved with lacrosse for over 55 years and began playing in Irondequoit, NY where at the age of 10 he received his first wooden stick as part of the Middle school lacrosse program. In Irondequoit, lacrosse is "The Proud Tradition" and a way of life. Dan was brought up with the principles to "learn, play, coach, and then grow the game of lacrosse". Dan is fortunate to have received instruction and mentoring from 5 Hall of Fame lacrosse coaches throughout his career.
These principles have carried over to Dan's own coaching career where he has coached HS lacrosse at Mentor (Ohio), South Lakes (VA), and Herndon (VA). In 2023, Dan was named the Concorde District Assistant Coach of the Year.
Dan currently coaches with WINNERS lacrosse (DC) and is associated with the USVI Olympic Sixes Lacrosse Program. Collegiately, Dan was part of both Navy and Hobart lacrosse programs
